U.S. Continental 14ers List

U.S. Continental 14ers List

What are 14ers?

Summiting 14ers, or peak bagging, is a popular past time in Colorado. 14er refers to mountains at least 14,000 feet above sea level. Or 4,267 meters above sea level for my metric system readers. For a 14er to count, there must be 300 feet of prominence, meaning many 14ers do not make the list.

Many people keep track of the 14ers they have summited so here is the list of all the 14ers in the United States. I have marked which ones I have completed as of 2017 when I restarted my 14ers summit list. My goal is to complete all the 14ers in the lower United States. I will not be including any I had completed before 2017 when I started this blog.

Once I’ve completed them, I will link my trip report to them so you can read all about the adventure and start planning your own summits. Happy hiking!
